Sean, thanks. I did believe I recognized Orbison’s voice but wasn’t at all familiar with the song so couldn’t find him singing it on you tube.
I jus read Nancy Franklin’s New Yorker piece on the show. Here’s hos she ended it:
The episode ends with Roy Orbison singing one of his less famous songs, “Shahadaroba,” over the credits. In his dreamy, high voice, he sings, against the exotic, “Egyptian” musical accompaniment, “Shahadaroba, Shahadaroba means the future is much better than the past.” As much of a lie as that is—the song goes on to tell more probable lies, such as “fate knows what’s best for you” and “in the future you will find a love that lasts”—the season ends with viewers having reason to be hopeful for the show’s prospects.

So there is going to be season 4:) For one moment I thought it was the end..this is one of the best shows I have ever watched, I adore 50s and early 60s….Betty and Don are the perfect couple despite everything..hope that he will realise what he had and tries to win her back..
