Mad Men is surely the jewel in the crown of US produced TV drama. We thought The Sopranos was a masterpiece; well get this. At first I thought it was too stylish and modish for its own good; but it has an earthy heart, the only problem is the damn thing is totally addictive. This kind of programming is the kind of thing that gives you renewed faith in the capacity of the system to produce quality, in spite of everything. How can get so much right? The writing, the acting, the look of the thing, even the sound design is superlative. I just totally love this programme, thank you for putting it online for re-visits, each programme can be watched and re-watched.
